March
2007
Autodesk Media &
Entertainment is pleased to announce the availability of an extension release
and service pack for Autodesk® Smoke®.
The new 2007
Extension 1 release delivers major improvements to conform performance and
numerous workflow
enhancements, including QuickTime support; as well as the New Lustre® Color
Management feature, which ensures that everyone
across the Autodesk Systems products pipeline* is working with and approving
images with the same color values.
Here’s what long-time
Smoke Artist Robb Cadzow, Chief Engineer at RIOT had to say about Smoke® 2007
Extension 1:
“We can quickly and
easily conform 2K in Smoke and focus on creative tasks, not data wrangling.
These new conform features allowed us to take on data centric 2K projects with
the ease of traditional video workflows.”
Further information
about the new features in the 2007 Extension 1 release is available in the New
Features Guide. Please refer to this on-line version, as the New
Features Guide installed with your software is out-of-date.
