March 2007

Autodesk Media & Entertainment is pleased to announce the availability of an extension release and service pack for Autodesk® Flame®.

The new 2007 Extension 1 release delivers a new automatic 3D Tracker, a Lens distort tool and numerous workflow improvements including QuickTime support; as well as the New Lustre® Color Management feature, which ensures that everyone across the Autodesk Systems products pipeline* is working with and approving images with the same color values.

Here’s what Jake Parker, Senior Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor at Fischer Edit had to say about Flame 2007 Extension 1:

“This sort of expansion and refinement of Flame's toolset is one of the things that will keep it the premier choice for high-end VFX.”

Further information about the new features in the 2007 Extension 1 release is available in the New Features Guide.  Please refer to this on-line version, as the New Features Guide installed with your software is out-of-date.

You must have a subscription license to enable the features in the Extension 1 release.  If you are not on subscription, only Service Pack 3 is available to you. If you would like to purchase subscription, please contact your sales representative.
